• Laurinburg man accused of breaking into, stealing from Rockingham residence (richmondobserver.com) — Rockingham police have charged a Laurinburg man in connection with a break-in and theft from a Boone Street residence, with items later sold at a local pawn shop. The suspect is being held in Richmond County Jail on secured bond and faces multiple felony charges, with a court appearance set for June 18. All charges remain allegations at this stage.
