• Gaston town to charge more for public records, add live stream for meetings (gastongazette.com) — Stanley residents will soon be able to watch Town Council meetings via an official livestream, expected to launch by July, but may face higher costs for extensive public records requests. After a trial period without fees, the council reinstated an $18-per-hour charge for requests taking more than an hour, citing staff labor demands and sustainability concerns.
