• Summerfield Town Manager Rollins Announces Surprise Retirement (rhinotimes.com) — Summerfield's town manager, Charles "Twig" Rollins Jr., has announced he'll retire on February 28, 2027, meaning the Town Council must soon launch another search for its top administrator. His decision comes just a few years after Summerfield's unprecedented staff walkout, bitter fights over development and de‑annexation, and ongoing litigation that still divide residents over the town's future direction.
