• Thomasville woman arrested on drug charges at Davidson County license checkpoint (abc45.com) — Law enforcement recently stopped a vehicle at a license checkpoint at Whitehart School Road and Ball Road in Thomasville, leading to drug charges for a local passenger and citations for the Thomasville driver. Detectives say they found methamphetamine and paraphernalia, and the passenger now faces court in Davidson County later this month. 
• Louis Howard Baker (kogt.com) — A Texas family is mourning the passing of Louis Howard Baker, whose son lives in Thomasville and may be known to local friends and neighbors.
