• Man faces more charges after car chase ends with crash; deputies seek information (wlos.com) — Weaverville police and Buncombe County deputies are still looking for a man they say fled a stolen vehicle that crashed after a chase beginning at the Northridge Commons Walmart in Weaverville and ending in Asheville. Authorities say the suspect, Marquis Earl Hurst, also faces additional warrants involving a stolen vehicle and firearm, and they’re asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the sheriff’s office.
