• Alleged fraudster gets $1M bond in North Carolina (myfox8.com) — Deputies from the Union County Sheriff’s Weddington division helped uncover an alleged identity theft and money laundering scheme after a local bank flagged suspicious account activity. Investigators say the suspect carried multiple fraudulent IDs and had opened business accounts across North Carolina. He’s now jailed on a $1 million secured bond as the investigation continues.
