An author's talk with the community featuring #AuthorASnorton moderated by DaKaisha Payne Williams

What happens when you bring together alums of Winston-Salem State and Wake Forest on the eve of their homecomings?
You get an enriching and engaging way to ease into the weekend!
Join the author and Wake alum for his upcoming author's talk at The Bookhouse. He will feature his books 8 months of mercy: scenes with a social introvert AND nothing Minor as respectively, one is a poetic retelling of an 8-month period of working through life's trials and tribulations, while the other (nothing Minor) recalls the author's first year of covering minor league baseball in the Southeast (including a section on the Negro Southern Leagues Museum).
Ms. Williams, a Winston-Salem State alum, is the moderator. She'll set the tone for the discussion around the books, upcoming work, and so much more.
The event is open to the public, ranging from alumni and colleagues of the universities to those who are enthusiasts when it comes to reading and writing. Make plans to bring a friend or two, enjoy the time to network and come together over good company, good books, and a great place and space!
