• Woodfin, Black Mountain approve data center restrictions and other updates from around Buncombe (mountainx.com) — Woodfin’s Town Council has put a 12‑month pause on new data centers so it can rewrite development rules and protect residents from potential utility and infrastructure impacts. At the same time, work is advancing on Taylor’s Wave and the Riverside Park expansion, with water now flowing over the new whitewater feature and completion expected in about a year and a half.
