• Dahners Ranch Recognized as Environmental Stewardship Award Winner (americanagnetwork.com) — An Almont rancher family is bringing home a major statewide honor, as Dahners Ranch of Almont was named the North Dakota Stockmen's Association's 2026 Environmental Stewardship Award winner. Their multi-generational Red Angus operation earned recognition for decades of conservation-minded grazing, water development, and soil-health practices, and will now represent North Dakota in regional competition against neighboring states.
