(devilslakejournal.com) — Devils Lake city leaders just reviewed long-delayed 2022 financial audits for both the city and Devils Lake Regional Airport, revealing a general fund deficit and a sizable shortfall in the capital projects fund. The auditor praised overall low debt and healthy enterprise funds but warned that continued transfers to cover gaps could eventually require rate changes. The next audit is scheduled for November.
