• Crews tackling large grass fire near Grenora (kfyrtv.com) — Fire crews from Epping are among several departments battling a fast-moving grass fire near Grenora, with high winds and poor visibility complicating the response. Officials are asking the public to stay away from areas west of Blacktail Dam, including stretches of County Roads 1 and 10, while firefighters work to contain multiple fire fronts.
   

• Ray High School senior dies in crash near Epping (journalnd.com) — Epping residents are mourning after an 18-year-old from Epping died from injuries in a May 2 head-on pickup crash just south of town. The collision on 124th Avenue NW also injured a Williston driver, and Ray Public School dismissed classes early so students and staff could attend the memorial service in Williston.
