• Women Connect Celebration (businessdailynetwork.com) — Fargo women will have a chance to hear Elizabeth Smart share an in-depth, hopeful message about resilience and purpose at the Women Connect Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026. The event runs 3:30–5 p.m. at Scheels Center in the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, with doors opening early for networking and tiered pricing for members and nonmembers.
   

• Fargo Board of Education to consider ballot measure for operating levy (am1100theflag.com) — Fargo residents may soon vote on a 110-mill excess General Fund levy that would keep Fargo Public Schools' local operating revenue at current levels for the next decade. The Board of Education will decide this week whether to place the measure on the November 3, 2026 ballot, replacing the district's higher 127-mill authority that expires in 2027.
   

• North Dakota State has won at a record rate at the lower levels. The Bison are rumbling into the FBS (nbcsports.com) — North Dakota State's jump to major-college football is about to reshape fall Saturdays in Fargo, with the Bison debuting in the FBS this weekend and joining the Mountain West next month. Leaders and former players say the move, backed by major local donations and a passionate fan base, brings tougher opponents, higher costs, and fresh excitement for the city's flagship team.
