4. 11-Year-Old Mows Lawns to Buy Headstone for Father Buried in Unmarked Grave (hypefresh.com) — A South Fargo sixth-grader spent the summer of 2016 mowing lawns to honor the biological father he never met, raising money for a headstone. After he caught the attention of Dakota Monument in Fargo, the company donated the stone and let him help design it, inspiring him to launch a small lawn and snow business to help other families afford memorials.

Fargo man arrested for headbutting, threatening police officers (kfgo.com) — Fargo police arrested a local man early Saturday after he allegedly threatened officers with a machete, tried to punch them in an apartment hallway, and later headbutted an officer at the hospital. Court documents say the incident began when officers responded to a south Fargo apartment, where the man's fiancée reported he was withdrawing from kratom and wanted detox.
