Today's riddle: What did the inventor of the knock-knock joke win? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Hazen racks up wins in sprints, relays and jumps (centralnordak.com) — Hazen track and field athletes delivered a big day at the Trinity Small Meet, piling up wins in sprints, relays and jumps. Standout sprinter Jaran Reinhardt led the boys with multiple victories, while Macey VanInwagen and several relay teams powered strong results for the girls, including multiple personal and season bests.

• Sweetness in Springtime: (centralnordak.com) — A rural Hazen neighbor, Bill Wagner, has turned the boxelder trees along the Knife River valley into a small maple syrup operation just east of town. He taps about 20 trees each spring, boiling sap on a turkey cooker and filtering it with a homemade vacuum system to create golden syrup for pancakes, ice cream, and more. His hobby shows how sweet early spring can be in Hazen’s backyard.
