City Council approves pilot project for shared lanes in NE Jamestown (jamestownsun.com) â Jamestownâs City Council has approved a pilot project creating shared vehicle-and-bicycle lanes on 8th Avenue Northeast, aiming to better connect local multi-use paths by early September. Council members also advanced new residential infrastructure near Mary Young Addition and West Ridge Estates, set a June 23 meeting on the Ski Son Development-Buffalo Estates, and filled a seat on the regional library board.

Jamestown Parks & Rec & City Celebrate Bridge Project With Ribbon Cutting (newsdakota.com) â New pedestrian bridges are now open at Klaus, McElroy, and Nickeus parks in Jamestown, improving safety, access, and long-term maintenance in some of the cityâs busiest green spaces. The City of Jamestown and Jamestown Parks and Recreation partnered on the project, celebrated with a ribbon cutting, and residents are encouraged to get out and explore the upgraded crossings.
