The UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences announced dozens of statewide student and faculty award winners during its recent commencement festivities. 
• Century-old Home Depot rival chain announces last location closing date (pennlive.com) — Minot shoppers are reminded that while Scheels’ historic Home & Hardware store in Fargo will close later this year, the company will continue operating its sporting goods store in Minot. The closure ends Scheels’ hardware era but leaves 34 sporting locations nationwide, including four in North Dakota. Company leaders say they’ll try to keep as many Fargo employees as possible.
