• Luick leads District 25 Senate; Goerger, Mitskog lead House seats (wahpetondailynews.com) — Voters in District 25, which includes Wahpeton, are leaning toward reelecting Sen. Larry Luick and sending Terry Goerger and Wahpeton’s Alisa Mitskog to the North Dakota House, according to unofficial tallies. With Luick holding a sizable lead and Goerger and Mitskog ahead in the three-way House race, Wahpeton residents can see who is poised to represent them in Bismarck.
   

• Richland County reports unofficial results in county races (wahpetondailynews.com) — Richland County voters have effectively returned all three commission candidates to four-year terms, with Rowland Ehlert, John Manstrom and Nathan Berseth securing the available seats. Several key county offices, including sheriff, state’s attorney and official newspaper Wahpeton Daily News, were uncontested but still drew overwhelming support, setting the leadership and pay structure that shape local services for Wahpeton residents.
