Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls Celebrates 10 Years with Community Event Featuring Local Businesses

More than 200 people recently gathered at Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls to celebrate the community’s 10th anniversary with a special event highlighting local Northeast Ohio businesses.

The assisted living and memory care community, which also offers respite care, has served older adults and their families in Summit County since opening in 2016. Designed to promote independence, dignity, and purposeful living, Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls provides personalized support alongside a vibrant lifestyle program that includes dining experiences, social programming, wellness opportunities and cultural events for residents.

To mark the milestone, the community partnered with a range of local vendors to create a celebratory experience for residents and guests. The event featured custom logo-branded breads from Brimfield Bread Oven, meats from five-generation butcher Dumas Meats, fresh selections from Krieger’s Health Foods Market and wine and signature drinks from 1875 Winery.

Guests also enjoyed desserts from West Side Bakery, Pallotta’s Pastries, Courtney’s Cookie Jar, and Sunshine Cupcakes. Additional elements included florals by Dietz Floral Studio, an ice sculpture created by Elegant Ice Creations, and live music from Cleveland Orchestra violinist Mary Beth Ions.

Physicians, attorneys, civic leaders, and healthcare partners joined the celebration, including the Mayor of Cuyahoga Falls and representatives from leading regional organizations and institutions. The celebration served as a time to honor the people who have helped shape Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls into a vibrant place to live and connect.
