• Photos of car that drove into sinkhole on Spicer Street in Akron (beaconjournal.com) — A car dropped into a sinkhole Monday evening on Spicer Street in Akron after an apparent water main break sent water rushing under the pavement. Akron police, water department crews, and a tow company responded, cordoning off the 500 block while the driver, an Akron resident, safely recovered belongings from the flooded vehicle.
