• Ashtabula officials warn of unlicensed prosthetic limbs vendor (spectrumnews1.com) — Ashtabula officials are warning residents about an unlicensed prosthetic limb seller who has repeatedly set up a white tent and folding tables, most recently in the Applebee’s parking lot. The man, described as middle-aged in casual clothes, lacks a vendor permit and isn’t collecting sales tax. Residents are urged not to confront him but to report sightings to the Ashtabula Office of Municipal Affairs.

• Man charged in police chase found guilty in Trumbull County (wkbn.com) — A Conneaut man has been found guilty in Trumbull County after a 2025 incident that began when he allegedly pulled a gun on an off-duty Ashtabula police officer along Dennison Ashtabula Road. The confrontation led to a high-speed chase through several rural roads before officers used a drone to locate him in a cornfield. Sentencing is scheduled for next week.
