3 Baby Bald Eagle Eggs Laid In Nest In Avon Lake
Bird watchers can see the eggs become eaglets over the next several weeks.
AVON LAKE, OH — The bald eagles nesting outside Redwood Elementary in Avon Lake have again laid eggs.
As of Wednesday evening, the two bald eagles had welcomed three eggs into their nest. Eaglets take about five weeks to break out of their eggs and enter the world, so baby bald eagle watch could begin in mid-April.
The Avon Lake Schools placed a camera above the eagles' nest several years ago. The district now maintains a constant feed that bird watchers can drop in on at any time. The feed can be found on YouTube.
