Avon Residents Sound Off On Which Businesses Should Move In

A new grocery store, Chik-Fil-A, Whole Foods, and other chains made the list. See what other recommendations residents made.

AVON, OH — On Wednesday, Patch sent out an innocuous question on Facebook to several communities. We asked what businesses residents wanted to see come to town. No Patch community in Ohio had more responses to that question than the Avon-Avon Lake Patch Facebook page.

So what do people want to see come to town? A lot of things, actually.

The most commons answers were another grocery store (Meijer was mentioned more than a few times), a Hobby Lobby, and Chik-Fil-A. One resident opined on the lack of Barrio, but suggested Avon Lake wasn't "edgy" enough to attract that restaurant chain.
