The award places the Avon facility among the leading community hospitals evaluated nationwide for outcomes and accountability. 
• William P. DiCapua, Sr. (chroniclet.com) — Services for longtime Avon Lake resident William P. DiCapua Sr. will be held at Busch Funeral Home on Detroit Road in Avon on Sunday evening, with a funeral Mass Monday morning in Avon Lake. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to pay their respects and may honor his love of animals through memorial gifts to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
