Avon) is honored to have Holly Brinda, President &amp; CEO of the Lorain County Big Brothers &amp; Big Sisters present "Make a Difference One Child at a Time!". Holly will share information about the mentoring and support services offered by her organization and how the community can help this effort. 💵 Cost is free to attend 🛍️ Vendors will offer a tiered experience &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;(some for free, some at a fee) 🪪 Membership will available as well
Spend the evening discovering local businesses, exploring products and services, sampling food and beverages from area restaurants and providers, and enjoying interactive experiences throughout the event.
This is also where membership begins! Learn more about the Avon Lake Women’s Club, our mission, upcoming programs, community initiatives, and the many ways women can connect, serve, lead, and get involved. New members will be able to join at the event.

Stand Up Lorain County (SULC) is proudly cosponsoring this event. They are a grassroots, volunteer-led Indivisible group serving communities throughout Lorain County, Ohio. Since March 2025, we have organized weekly peaceful protests, voter registration efforts, petition drives and community engagement activities focused on protecting democracy and encouraging civic participation. SULC believes lasting change happens when ordinary people come together to make their voices heard. They are peaceful, powerful and unapologetic in their commitment to democratic values and community action.

The Avon Lake Democrats club will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Firehouse Community Center, 100 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake (please note change of venue). Avon Lake city issues on the November ballot will be discussed, along with “Get Out the Vote” plans for the all-important upcoming election.
