LongHorn Steakhouse Opening Avon Restaurant

AVON, OH — LongHorn Steakhouse will open its new Avon location on September 17. The grand opening will feature a lasso cutting ceremony and a chance for one guest to cut into the restaurants's first steak.

The new Steakhouse will be at 35613 Chester Road. The restaurant is 5,465-square-feet and can seat more than 180 people. LongHorn Steakhouse Avon will be led by Managing Partner Damon Saunders.

When LongHorn opens, it will have a staff of about 60 people working part-time and full-time as servers, cooks, bartenders and in other roles. There are still openings on the staff and applications can be submitted online.

Saunders is a Cleveland-native who has been part of the restaurant industry for two decades. In a press release from LongHorn, he said he was looking forward to returning to his hometown and was eager to open his new restaurant.

The LongHorn Steakhouse in Avon will feature eight steak cuts and six seasoning blends.
