Meet Avon Lake Businesses During Annual Event

Approximately 40 companies will be on exhibit on April 26 during the 6th Annual North Coast Expo.

AVON LAKE, OH — The city's 6th Annual North Coast Expo will return to town on April 26. Nearly 40 local businesses and groups will exhibit at the event, which will be open to the public from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be free food for both exhibitors and attendees.

“The City of Avon Lake has established this annual tradition of an event that celebrates local businesses,” says Ted Esborn, the city’s economic development director. “It is designed to give these businesses a chance to network with others in the local business community as well as potential customers and clients in the general public.”

For the third year in a row, the North Coast Expo will be hosted by Sprenger Health Care Systems. The company provides free food for all exhibitors and attendees.

Folks planning on attending the Expo should park in the Towne Center shopping area's main parking lot. A shuttle will then ferry to and from the Expo, which is being held Sprenger Health Care Systems’ Main Street Care Center at 500 Community Drive in Avon Lake.

Last year's event drew rave reviews, including this comment from Sherry Lunt from Key Bank, who said, “We have been here for several years. It’s been a great opportunity to network with other businesses and vendors and meet a lot of folks from the community as well.”

Using a portion of exhibitor fees, the city will also make a donation to the Community Resource Services (CRS) program. Susan Poole, Executive Director at CRS said, “The Business Expo is a big supporter of Community Resource Services. It’s a wonderful thing and we are very appreciative of that.”
