All incidents remain under investigation or have limited released details.
   

• High school girls soccer: Madelyn Lee's second-half brace lifts Bay past Avon, 2-1 (morningjournal.com) — Avon High School's girls soccer team opened its season with a hard-fought 2-1 road loss at powerhouse Bay, despite an early goal from freshman Delaney Moyer. Coach Attila Csiszar praised Avon's tough nonconference schedule, which continues Aug. 22 against Division II state runner-up Hudson as the Eagles prepare for another deep postseason run.
