US News Uncovers Pros, Cons of Avon, Avon Lake Nursing Homes
The findings may (or may not) surprise you.
US News & World Report, known for its academic, hospital, investment and car rankings, just released new findings about some of the best and worst nursing homes across Ohio and throughout America.
15,000 nursing homes were evaluated and judged on four categories: health inspections, nurse staffing, quality measures and fire safety.
Main Street Care Center (in Towne Center, Avon Lake) and Avon Oaks (Avon) both earned 5 stars. Also rated are St. Mary of the Woods (Avon) and Good Samaritan Nursing Home (Avon).
