• Bedford Superintendent to Retire Following Mutual Separation Agreement As Reported by WKYC Studios (bedfordohio.org) — Bedford residents should know that Superintendent Dr. Cassandra Johnson will retire at month’s end under a mutual separation agreement with the Bedford City School District, following months of controversy and multiple federal lawsuits. The disputes involve administrators’ leaves, alleged retaliation and email access concerns, a student walkout, and a teachers union no-confidence vote. The Bedford Board of Education meets next on Aug. 6.
