• Bellefontaine Council told Hot Summer Nights Cruise-in returning (peakofohio.com) — Bellefontaine residents can look forward to the Hot Summer Nights Cruise-in returning this August, along with a planned May 23 opening for the city pool, weather permitting. City council also advanced several infrastructure and budget measures, including a State Route 47 paving partnership and 2026 street resurfacing and striping projects, while police and fire leaders reported new vehicles, staffing, and equipment on the way. 
• Early morning kitchen fire damages Bellefontaine home (peakofohio.com) — An early morning kitchen fire damaged a home in Bellefontaine on Tuesday, but firefighters quickly contained the flames to the kitchen and no injuries were reported. Crews responded around 5:30 a.m. to a trailer park across from Walmart on Gunntown Road, limiting structural damage though smoke spread throughout the residence. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
