• COMMUNITY NEWS: Model Aircraft Club to meet; citywide baptism set (vindy.com) — Several community events are coming up in and around Boardman, including a Mahoning County Model Aircraft Club meeting that moves to Bellaria Pizza on Market Street if it rains. The Davis Family YMCA on McClurg Road will also unveil a new mural and open the Cat’s Meow art show, alongside other family activities in nearby towns.
   

• Capsules – July 24, 2026 (vindy.com) — Little League fans can head to Boardman today, where Canfield’s 12U team plays West Side at noon on Field L1 at the Fields of Dreams, with a second game if needed. The roundup also notes a Brookfield golf outing and national sports business moves.
   

• UPDATE: Charges filed against trucker allegedly involved in Trooper's traffic death (wfmj.com) — Boardman Township firefighters were among the first responders praised for saving a trucker’s life after the October 2025 Route 11 crash that killed State Trooper Cade Cayton. A Canfield man now faces aggravated vehicular homicide and assault charges in the case, with state prosecutors handling the indictment and potential prison time of at least five years if he’s convicted.
