Officials warn of measles exposure at Bowling Green State (spectrumnews1.com) — Health officials have confirmed a measles case in Bowling Green and warn that people at BGSU, Pagliai’s Restaurant, Wood County Hospital, or Falcon Health Center on specific late-September dates may have been exposed. Residents without full MMR vaccination are urged to contact a healthcare provider, monitor for symptoms like rash and high fever, and consider getting vaccinated to help protect the community.
   

2. Tunnel vision at BGSU – section of aging tunnels and utilities on campus to get $2.7M renovations (bgindependentmedia.org) — Major infrastructure work is coming to Bowling Green State University, starting with a $2.7 million overhaul of aging utility tunnels that serve key campus buildings and could affect nearby areas during construction. Trustees also approved selling two university-owned homes on Troup Avenue and reviewed a slate of multimillion-dollar renovations to residence halls, dining, IT systems, and historic Hayes Hall through 2029.
   

3. Update: BG Post Office boxes and counter to be opened Saturday after motorist drove through front doors (bgindependentmedia.org) — Access to post office boxes and the retail counter in Bowling Green is expected to resume Saturday after an 83-year-old driver crashed through the front doors Friday morning. No one was injured, but the building at 111 W. Washington St. suffered significant damage, and customers are temporarily directed to other USPS locations until full operations are restored.

BG Parks and Recreation warns businesses of fraudulent solicitation (sent-trib.com) — Bowling Green officials are warning local businesses and residents about fraudulent emails falsely claiming to sell vendor space for a “City Park Winter Spark Holiday Market & Festival” on behalf of the Parks & Recreation Department. The city stresses it is not running this event, urges people not to pay or share information, and asks recipients to verify messages and report suspicious emails to Bowling Green Police.
   

5. BG Manor celebrates 50 years of caring for Bowling Green community (bgindependentmedia.org) — A longtime local care home is marking 50 years of serving Bowling Green residents, with staff, city leaders and families celebrating the milestone and looking ahead to the next half-century.
