Resident reports elaborate fraud involving fake law enforcement: Brecksville Police Blotter (cleveland.com) — Brecksville police are investigating an elaborate phone scam that convinced a Springside Oval resident to wire money after speaking with someone posing as a bank employee and a Broadview Heights police lieutenant. The victim lost $1,500 even after the bank recovered most of the transfer, and officers are urging vigilance as they continue the investigation.

RTA delays Cleveland bus cuts until after May 2027 vote (cleveland.com) — Brecksville riders on RTA's Route 77 will keep their current rush-hour frequency for now, after the agency delayed planned bus cuts until after a May 2027 tax vote.
