• City, school board approve SRO extension (registerherald.com) — Brookville City Council and the Brookville Local Schools board have approved a three-year extension of the school resource officer position, keeping the program in place through July 31, 2029. The city and school district will continue splitting the SRO’s salary, with Officer Zachary Snell remaining in the role and focusing on school safety, crime prevention, and positive relationships with students.
