• Five local servicemen to be inducted into Ohio Military Hall of Fame (wkbn.com) — Campbell will honor five local Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor inductees at a Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday at 10 a.m. Councilwoman Mary Janek organized the tribute after Mike Sudzina highlighted their recognition. Honoree Bob Pluchinsky said recognition from his own community means even more than his induction.
   

• Mogadore volleyball goes down fighting in regional semifinal loss (dispatch.com) — Campbell Memorial’s volleyball team defeated Mogadore in four sets to reach a November 7 regional final against Northside Christian. Senior setter Da’Janelle Will broke the program’s season and career assist records, while sophomore Jada Smith delivered eight kills in the fourth set to help the Red Devils finish the match.
   

• Cover Down Fund marks one year of helping Valley vets (vindy.com) — A Campbell veteran’s widow received a grant to replace her roof through the Cover Down Fund, which is marking its first year helping Mahoning Valley veterans and families. The nonprofit is now providing $10,000 in Giant Eagle gift cards through Mahoning and Trumbull county veterans service offices to help veterans facing holiday food costs.
