Public records show more than 1,100 cameras regionwide, though Cincinnati police and some departments have declined to reveal exact locations, raising fresh transparency and privacy concerns for local drivers.
3. Ohio drivers urged to check cars for floodwater damage (spectrumnews1.com) — After days of heavy rain across Ohio, mechanics in Cincinnati are warning drivers to look for hidden flood damage in their vehicles, not just their homes. Local experts say even driving through high water can harm engines, interiors, and frames, and recommend watching for musty odors, silt in crevices, and other subtle signs before problems become expensive repairs.
