Officers also issued multiple traffic citations, checked on residentsā well-being, and conducted extra patrols on several city streets overnight.

2. Roundtown Cruisers Rev Up for 2026 Season Opener This Friday (sciotopost.com) ā Circlevilleās Roundtown Cruisers are kicking off their 2026 cruise-in season this Friday, April 24, with a free car show on Tarlton Road from 5ā8 p.m. The first 50 cars get dash plaques, and monthly cruise-ins will continue through September, with music, food, raffles, and open entry for all types of vehicles.

3. Circleville Man Pleads Guilty to Felony Drug Charges Following 2025 K9 Traffic Stop (sciotopost.com) ā A Circleville man has been sentenced to 5ā6 years in state prison after pleading guilty to cocaine and fentanyl possession tied to a 2025 K9 traffic stop on Main Street. Pickaway County deputies and Circleville Police coordinated on the stop, where a K9 alert led to the seizure of more than 60 grams of suspected narcotics.

4. John Martin Uldrich (thesciotovoice.com) ā Circleville readers may remember John Uldrich from his work as a counselor at Hope Valley Recovery in town. The 40-year-old Chillicothe resident, a multitalented craftsman, musician, and farrier, passed away unexpectedly on April 17. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life Thursday afternoon at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.

5. Data center ban at stake in statewide referendum (circlevilleherald.com) ā Circleville residents recently gathered in Ted Lewis Park to sign a petition seeking a statewide Ohio constitutional amendment that would ban construction of large data centers over 25 megawatts. Supporters from across Pickaway County say theyāre worried about environmental impacts, future abandoned facilities, and a proposed PowerConneX/EdgeConneX data center near Ashville, and are urging letters to the Ohio Power Siting Board.
