30 Families Displaced By Fire In Cleveland, Fundraiser Launched
A GoFundMe account wants to raise money for the 30 families that lost everything in an apartment complex fire.

CLEVELAND, OH — About thirty families were temporarily displaced by an apartment complex fire that tore through parts of the Rainbow Terrace Apartments on Garden Valley Avenue in Cleveland on March 26. Now, members of the Rainbow Terrace Programs have launched a GoFundMe to support the families that lost everything in the blaze.
"The Red Cross is generously helping 30 families with emergency shelter, temporary placement and other short-term needs. However, these families have lost everything. Every resident who wants to return to Rainbow Terrace can, but the families now need to rebuild their lives and homes," the program said on its fundraising page.
The fundraiser is looking to raise $150,000, or $5,000 per family. By about 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, about $7,000 had been donated.
