40 Medical Marijuana Dispensaries Allowed in Ohio Under Proposed Rules
- Forty medical marijuana dispensaries would be allowed under proposed rules from the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. The state may expand the number of dispensaries allowed to operate in the state after Sept. 8, 2018. Opponents say the state will need 250 or more dispensaries to fully satisfy patients.

Ohio Suing Generic Drug Companies that Colluded to Keep Prices High, Lawsuit Says
- Several generic drug manufacturers colluded to inflate prices and reduce competition, according to a lawsuit filed by the state of Ohio and 19 other states today. In some cases, the prices of these generic drugs has jumped by as much as 1,000 percent over the last several years. Heritage Pharmaceuticals is named as the ringleader of the conspiracy by the lawsuit.

Strongsville Fire Department and We Care Bring Holiday Joy to Appalachia
- On Dec. 9, the Strongsville Fire Department did something it's been doing for nearly three decades, but it wasn't putting out a fire or pulling the neighborhood cat from a tree. The firefighters got together and loaded up a truck for the We Care organization, which brings much-needed goods to poverty-stricken areas of Appalachia.
- A driving incident turned into a vicious assault on Dec. 14. Police were called to SR 91 and Station Street at 2:35 p.m. when callers reported that some kind of brawl was developing on the side of the road.
Citizens Bank in Cleveland Robbed; Police Release Images of Suspect
- The Citizens Bank at 4221 Pearl Road, Cleveland, was robbed by an unidentified man today.
