Boo At Public Square Set For Tuesday In Cleveland
Want to try something new for Halloween? Bring the family to this event hosted by Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams.

CLEVELAND, OH — The Big City Boo in Public Square will again be held on Halloween this year. The free event, hosted by Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams, will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and will feature treat stations, a children's parade and pet costume contest. What more could you ask for on the spookiest day of the year?
Activities kick off at 5 p.m., when candy stations open up. The Pet Costume Contest starts at 5:30 p.m. on the Quicken Loans main stage. The children's parade will start at 5:45 p.m. at the Key Bank promenade entrance and proceed north along Superior.
The event will wrap up at 7 p.m., plenty of time to get the little ones home on a chilly school night.

This year's Pet Costume Contest should be a show stealer. The winner will receive a $100 gift card to a local pet store. Judging for the event will be done by a panel of representatives from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD), the city of Cleveland and Group Plan Commission. The event is sponsored by the NEORSD.
Pet owners are reminded that Public Square is a dog-friendly park, but that doesn't mean dog and cat poo can be left around the area. Plastic bags should be brought to the event and all pet droppings should be collected by owners and disposed of.
