Cleveland Gas Prices Up Over Last Week
Northeast Ohioans are paying a nickel more on average for fuel than they were seven days ago.

CLEVELAND, OH - Gas prices are up five cents versus last week for Northeast Ohioans, according to travel organization AAA's gas price tracker. After dodging a national trend towards an uptick in prices, Greater Clevelanders are now catching up to the American average.
The average cost of a gallon of regular gas is at $2.37 today, up from $2.32 last week. Mid-grade, premium, and diesel are all up versus last week as well. Mid-grade fuel costs $2.63 this week, up from $2.58 seven days ago. Premium is up to $$2.92, up versus $2.87 last week. Diesel will run you $2.51, versus $2.49 last week.
Looking at how gas prices have jumped in a year's time, a gallon of regular cost $1.89 12 months ago. That's a 40 cent jump over the course of a year.

Nationally, a gallon of regular is costing Americans an average of $2.36, almost identical to what Northeast Ohioans are paying. That's up from a week ago when prices were $2.32. A year ago a gallon of regular cost $1.97.
