Hayes (cleveland19.com) — A Cleveland mother is pushing for stronger bullying enforcement after her 15-year-old son was beaten unconscious in a stairwell at Max S. Hayes High School and treated for a concussion. Cleveland police and the Cleveland school district documented the April attack, but only short suspensions followed, and the boy is now transferring as classes resume Monday.

(cleveland.com) — Recent police reports from Orange and nearby suburbs include an impaired driver dragging a construction barrel, a resident losing nearly $25,000 in a phishing scam, and an arrest on multiple warrants tied to Cleveland police. The win, combined with a Texas loss, pulls Cleveland into a tie for the final American League wild-card spot and extends their winning streak to three games.
