U-2 Plays Cleveland’s First Energy Stadium: When Ticket Sales Start
The 25-city, two-continent stadium tour celebrates 30th anniversary of "The Joshua Tree." Presale of tickets runs Jan. 11-13.

CLEVELAND, OH — Irish rock legends U-2 will play Cleveland’s First Energy Stadium July 1, according to an announcement Monday. The Cleveland stop is the last in the United States before U-2 to takes its 25-city stadium tour to Europe.
The stadium tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of U-2’s seminal album “The Joshua Tree.” One Republic opens the show in Cleveland. Tickets go on sale jan. 17 in the United States and Canada. A priority presale for U2.com subscribers begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, and continues through 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13.
Tickets are general admission on the floor ($35) and reserved seats in the stands (starting at $70).
