Wanted Cleveland Bank Robber Walks Into City Hall, Gets Himself Arrested
The man tried to apply for a duplicate birth certificate at Cleveland City Hall. Police recognized him and arrested him.

CLEVELAND, OH - In what has to be considered a boneheaded move, a suspected serial bank robber waltzed into Cleveland City Hall on Friday and got himself arrested. Mark Anthony Lloyd is believed to be behind the robbing of two Northeast Ohio banks in the past two months alone.
Lloyd walked into city hall and tried to apply for a duplicate birth certificate, under the name "Michael Lloyd." Some police officers in the entryway of city hall recognized him and placed him under arrest. Police say Lloyd's distinctive gun tattoo, located beneath his eye, gave him away.
Lloyd will be charged federally at a later date.

Lloyd, 31, police say, robbed an Ohio Savings Bank on Jan. 30 and a PNC on Feb. 13. At the Jan. 30 robbery, Lloyd allegedly entered the Ohio Savings Bank and told the teller he wanted to open a checking account. However, before opening an account Lloyd then told the teller that he wanted the bank's money or he would shoot her. He also handed her a note saying the same thing. He then flashed a black, semi-automatic gun. The teller handed him the money and he ran out.
