2 New Elementary School Principals In Cleveland Heights
Noble and Oxford Elementary will have new leadership in the fall. And you can meet the new principals at a June event.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Two current Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools teachers have been named elementary school principals. Patrick Carpenter will be Noble Elementary's principal in the fall, while Teresa Taylor-Ware will take on the same role at Oxford Elementary.
βWe are happy to promote two internal candidates to lead Noble and Oxford next school year,β said CH-UH Superintendent Talisa Dixon. βBoth Patrick and Teresa are instructional leaders who are respected by their peers at their schools and across the district.β
Both Noble and Oxford will host "Meet and Greet" events on Wednesday, June 6, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Families and staff are invited to meet their new principals.

Carpenter is currently a teacher at Oxford. He spent the past seven years at Oxford Elementary, where he has held various leadership roles. In 2016, he started the Disney Musicals program, partnering with Playhouse Square to help students experience literacy through the theatrical arts.
He earned his Master Teacher status in 2017. He also serves on Oxford's Building Leadership team.

βI am beyond excited for the opportunity to work with everyone in the Noble community,β said Carpenter. βI have been able to see so much success at Noble over the years, and being able to step into a leadership role in order to actualize more growth and achievement there is a dream come true. I look forward to collaborating with the staff to make a difference for all students and families at Noble.β
Meanwhile, Taylor-Ware is jumping from Noble to Oxford. She is a 25 year veteran of the CHUH School District, and has spent the past eight years at Noble.
βI am excited about my new role as principal of Oxford Elementary School,β said Taylor-Ware. βI look forward to working with the Oxford staff to support all of our students and help them achieve success.β
Taylor-Ware got her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Specific Learning Disabilities from Cleveland State University. She received her Ohio Principal Licensure from Cleveland State and her Teacher Leader Endorsement from John Carroll University.
