Cleveland Heights gives residents another chance for input on future redesign of Cumberland Pool (cleveland.com) — Cleveland Heights residents are invited to an open house Tuesday evening at the Noble Neighborhood Library to share ideas on redesigning the aging Cumberland Pool and its historic bathhouse. Your feedback will guide a task force report due Sept. 30, shaping accessibility, programming, and the pool's long-term future. An online survey is also available if you can't attend.
   

2. Cleveland Heights keeps tackling those missing state audits from prior administration (cleveland.com) — Cleveland Heights is closing in on completing overdue state audits, a key step toward restoring its Moody's credit rating and improving the city's borrowing power. City officials say 2024 financials are filed and 2025 work is underway, while council plans more discussion. Residents should also prepare for a monthlong closure of the Cedar-Fairmount parking garage starting the week of Labor Day.
   

3. Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers at Cain Park Evans Amphitheater (relix.com) — Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers recently brought a high-energy, phone-free show to Cleveland Heights' Cain Park Evans Amphitheater, delighting fans with reimagined versions of his hits. Over two hours, the band mixed pop, jazz, Americana, and classical influences, honored fan requests, and closed with favorites like "The Way It Is" and "Mandolin Rain."
   

4. Successful Start (owu.edu) — Cleveland Heights resident Ryver Woodall has been named a Woltemade Economics and Business Fellow at Ohio Wesleyan University, earning a four-year spot in the selective program. The fellowship provides specialized advising, mentoring, a scholarship, and a fully funded study trip to connect students with business and government leaders.
   

5. Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce buy $5.35M home in Bratenahl, Ohio (cleveland.com) — A new $5.35 million lakefront mansion in nearby Bratenahl now belongs to Taylor Swift and Cleveland Heights native Travis Kelce, adding star power to Northeast Ohio. Kelce, who played high school football in Cleveland Heights, and Swift split time among several homes nationwide, so their local stays may be occasional but still notable for area fans.
