Margaret Wagner Apartments Expanded

The Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging (BRIA) unveiled 36 newly renovated one-bedroom apartments for low-income seniors at Margaret Wagner House on May 15, 2012.

The Margaret Wagner Apartments, at 2375 Euclid Heights Blvd in Cleveland Heights, first opened in 2003 in BRIA’s former nursing home. The original 24 apartments, which opened in 2003, occupy the fourth and fifth floors of the building and are a mix of one-bedroom and studio apartments.

The Margaret Wagner Apartments are supported by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Section 202

Margaret Wagner House opened in January 1961 as a “rest home” named for BRIA’s first Executive Director. It closed as a nursing facility in 1997, and the same year became home to Concordia Care (now McGregor PACE). The building also houses the BRIA Adult Day Program and East Side Partial Hospitalization Program.
