Arlo Guthrie Coming To Cain Park In July

Arlo Guthrie has been known to generations as a prolific songwriter, social commentator, master storyteller.

From Cain Park: Arlo Guthrie, along with his children Abe and Sarah Lee, present music of the Guthrie generations at Cain Park's Evans Amphitheater onJuly 22 at 7pm. The Re:Generation tour is the spirit of an American family making music together.

Tickets for this event are $40/35/25 in advance and $43/38/28 day of show. They can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com (800-653-8000) or the Cain Park ticket office (216-371-3000). Cain Park is located at 14591 Superior Road in Cleveland Heights.

Free parking shuttle service is available for this concert. The shuttle runs 7-8pm (it does not run during the concert) and up to one hour after the concert ends. Those interested should park at Cleveland Heights City Hall (40 Severance Circle).

Son of America's most beloved singer/writer/philosopher/artist Woody Guthrie, Arlo has become an iconic figure in folk music in his own right with a distinguished and varied career spanning over fifty years. Growing up as a Guthrie, Arlo was surrounded by such renowned artists as Pete Seeger, Lee Hays, Ronnie Gilbert, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee, and Ramblin' Jack Elliott.

Cain Park, a municipally owned and operated summer performing arts park and one of the nation’s oldest landmark outdoors celebrating its 80th season in 2018, is produced by the City of Cleveland Heights and is located on Superior Road between Lee and South Taylor roads.
