Join Heights Arts for a Sunday afternoon performance in the gallery by Cleveland-based contemporary music ensemble Ars Futura. Enjoy an innovative program of music by Buck McDaniel (Avant-Garde Idol, MOCA 2014 Winner), Stravinsky, Jennifer Higdon, Lou Harrison, Robert Paterson and more…
Ars Futura is a collective of classically trained musicians who commission and perform new music. Its members include: Shuai Wang, piano; Madeline Lucas Tolliver, flute; Drew Sullivan, clarinet; Tara Lynn Ramsey, violin; Daniel Pereira, cello; Luke Rinderknecht, percussion. Since forming in 2013, they have performed at a wide range of venues, including the Cleveland Museum of Art, MOCA Cleveland, Cleveland Heights’ Deming House, the Bop Stop, 78th Street Studios, and at Cleveland Institue of Music’s Mixon Hall.
Doors open 2:30 p.m. No ticket fee; freewill donations accepted.
