Big Fun Is Ohio's Best Place To Shop On Black Friday: USA Today

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — In the run-up to Black Friday, USA Today released a list of the best places to shop in all 50 states, including Ohio. The national paper rattled off a short list of the Buckeye State's best malls and shops, including Coventry's own Big Fun.

"Visitors to Cleveland Heights, Ohio should check out the Big Fun Toy Store, with its variety of lunch boxes, blow-up toys, candy, dolls and classic toys," the paper wrote in its article.

Big Fun is one of the most iconic stores on Cleveland Heights' strip of small business in the Coventry district. The store combines fun gimmick props, old action figures, adult gag gifts and so much more to create a wholly unique atmosphere.

To celebrate the big honor, Big Fun took to social media. In an Instagram post, the store accepted its placement on USA Today's list with grace, writing, "We humbly agree! Big Fun has a little of everything, which means you can find something for anyone on your holiday shopping list!"

Then, in class Big Fun tongue-in-cheek style, the post continues, "So don't buy any more boring clothes (but do check out our fun sock and t-shirt selection) or any more impersonal gift cards (gift certificates, available!) buy your friends and loved ones something truly unique and fun!"

Tommy's Restaurant (another iconic Coventry business) congratulated their neighbors with a Facebook post. They wrote, "Take a look at one of USA Today’s top places to shop on Black Friday!! #bigfun"

Both the city and the Friends of Coventry Village also took to social media to pass on congratulations to Big Fun on making USA Today's list of must-shop Black Friday stores.
